By accessing or using gptone.me (the “Site”) and any related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and gptone.me.
2. Changes to Terms
We may modify or update these Terms at any time. Updates will be reflected by changing the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our Services after such changes indicates acceptance. We encourage you to review this page regularly.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Services. By using gptone.me, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements and have the capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Account Registration
Some features may require creating an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or security breaches.
5. Services Overview
Our platform provides AI detection, grammar checking, word counting, and humanization tools. These features may be updated or discontinued without notice. While we strive for accuracy, no automated system is flawless.
6. Intellectual Property
All Site content, including code, logos, trademarks, and designs, is the property of gptone.me or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is strictly prohibited.
7. User Contributions
By submitting text or content to our Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the Services (AI detection, grammar checking, word counting, etc.).
Important: We do NOT use your submitted text to train our AI models. Your content is processed in real-time and is not stored for training purposes. We do not claim ownership of your content.
You retain all ownership rights to your content. You affirm that your submissions do not infringe on third-party rights or contain unlawful material.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to misuse the Services, including but not limited to:
- Engaging in unlawful or fraudulent activity
- Attempting to reverse engineer or disrupt the Services
- Uploading malicious code or content
- Using outputs to mislead, defraud, or harm others
9. Payment Terms
9.1 Subscription Fees
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as selected during purchase. Fees are displayed in USD and are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our Refund Policy.
9.2 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription fee. We will send you a reminder email 7 days before renewal.
9.3 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price increase. Price changes will apply to your next billing cycle. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
9.4 Upgrades and Downgrades
Upgrades take effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refunds are provided for downgrades.
9.5 Failed Payments
If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times over 7 days. If payment continues to fail, your subscription will be suspended and you will lose access to premium features. You may update your payment method at any time to restore access.
9.6 Refunds
All subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may, at our sole discretion, provide refunds for exceptional circumstances. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge.
10. Subscription Cancellation
10.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@gptone.me. Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid being charged.
10.2 Effect of Cancellation
When you cancel:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- You will retain access to premium features until the period ends
- You will retain all unused credits until the period ends
- After the period ends, you will be downgraded to the free plan
- Your account and data will be retained unless you request deletion
10.3 Account Deletion
To permanently delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@gptone.me. Account deletion is irreversible and will result in loss of all credits, data, and account history.
11. Free Trials and Guarantees
From time to time, we may offer free trials or promotional guarantees. These are subject to their own terms and conditions, which will be communicated at the time of the offer. Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial period ends.
12. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, and process your information. By using the Services, you consent to these practices.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services. You may also discontinue use of the Services at any time.
14. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or error-free operation. Use is at your own risk.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, gptone.me shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless gptone.me, its affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
17. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemics, internet failures, third-party service outages, or government actions.
18. Export Control
You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations. You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to trade sanctions or embargoes. You will not use the Services in violation of any export control laws.
19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts.
Alternative Dispute Resolution: Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at support@gptone.me to attempt to resolve the dispute. If we cannot resolve it within 60 days, you may proceed with legal action.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full effect and enforceable.
